THE 'I AM A CAMERA' EXHIBITION OPENS
After around twelve months of planning, constructing and organising, Colin Lowe's camera and print exhibition finally was opened by Duncan Dodd at the Vancouver Arts Centre on Saturday the 23rd of November.

It might need to take a much closer look to see how Colin has ingeniously fashioned a working camera from all sorts of recycled materials, nuts and discarded items.

The way he has fashioned them into cameras is nothing short of amazing let alone being able to see the quality of the prints that were produced by himself and members of the ACE Camera Club.
After a few short lessons they were sent out to capture images from around Albany which were then developed by Colin.
ACE member, Mike Lyons made a exceptional job of printing the photos on a really nice quality matt paper which shows off the unique character of the pinhole and simple lens process perfectly.
An exhibition not to be missed if you're in Albany and interested in REALLY alternative photography.

Thanks to Duncan Dodd, Mike Lyons, Malcolm Heberle, Thelma Symons, the Vancouver Arts Centre the club photographers and everyone who helped set up and provided some excellent home cooked food for the opening.
The exhibition runs from the 23rd of November through to the 6th of December, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm and Saturdays, 10.00am to 3.00pm at the Vancouver Arts Centre, Albany, 6330.
