THE ACE PHOTO BOOTH AT THE 2018
ALBANY REMEMBRANCE DAY EVENT
The ACE photo booth is one of our most successful community projects guaranteeing a fun day for our members and always lots of sometimes serious, sometimes outrageously funny portraits all for the unbelievably affordable cost of $5.00. (No price increase since WW1).
We've teamed up once again with the exceptionally colourful and creative Gertrude Wellease who brought along an amazing collection of costumes for anyone game enough to dress up and stand in front of our camera.
Also, thanks to the Albany 10th Light Horse troop for lending some uniforms and military hardware that proved to be very popular with both young and old.
We offered 2 photographs in colour or sepia to be emailed but some of the participants were so good we decided it was impossible to pick the best 2 so we'll be sending more as an appreciation for the way they really got into the spirit of things.
We must thank the City of Albany and the whole events team for putting on such an amazing event that was a real success and was enjoyed by all on this commemoration of the signing of the armistice in 1918.
"Lest we forget".
