THE NEXT EXHIBITION
Our club began as a film only group but has since moved to include all types of media on all types of devices.
Film has a rich and lengthy history and to a great many photographers has never lost it's appeal.
Today, film offers an alternative way in which photographers can create images that have a unique look to them that is 'different' to digital and one which is best created via chemistry rather than by 1's and 0's.

Cameras range from handmade pinhole cameras (see drift above) to vintage view cameras (below) to op shop discoveries and classic (and sometimes not so classic) cameras of many types.
Another feature of this exhibition is that all prints will be developed in coffee and not commercial developer. Members have fine tuned this process to produce images that are every bit as sharp and with tonal qualities equal to the off the shelf product.
The exhibition is on at the Vancouver Arts Centre, 85 Vancouver St. Albany from the 31st of July to the 17th of September. Check the website below for details.
