Collecting images for The Wool Story

ACE members took a photographic exhibition to the small rural town of Nyabing.   Whilst in the area we took the opportunity to visit some of the local farms to photograph shearers in action and find out a little more for ourselves about this important industry.

Our club is providing a series of images to the Vancouver Arts Centre who are currently putting together a very comprehensive exhibition following wool from farm to final product.

Many local artists and arts groups are involved in this event with wool being the main theme of everyone's work which will be featured in the annual Street Festival which will be held on Saturday the 6th of May.

Our studio will be open and we will have a display of our other photographs and might even open the mortuary for inspection by the public.

Always a very entertaining day for young and old alike.
