  THE 2020 ALBANY CHRISTMAS PAGEANT

Due to the covid19 situation the regular Christmas parade format had to be changed to comply with current regulations.      Instead of the usual parade of floats up and down York St., activities and performances were spread around town and the ACE Camera Club were this years Santa photographers.

This threw up a large range of technical issues ranging from coping with a fairly strong breeze, dramatically changing lighting conditions and having to deal with a huge number of children and adults wanting to have their picture taken with Santa.

It was a full on day with hardly a moment to catch our breath as we went non-stop on the Saturday from 3.00pm right through to 7.00pm.

It was good to see so many people out and about enjoying the spirit of Xmas after a fairly trying time over the past 8 months coping with the limitations caused by the pandemic.

Albany has thankfully been one of the safest places on the planet and we're all relieved that the effects endured in other places hasn't been anywhere near as bad as it has in
many other States.

A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE FROM ACE.
