PROGRAM GOES LIVE
At the ACE Camera Club we're not at all into rules and that's why we've actively discouraged competition between members.
We've found it very refreshing to see how so many young people just grab a camera and start shooting with often surprisingly good results.
Our club, along with the City of Albany and the Vancouver Arts Centre are working together to encourage young members of our community to explore their creative potential through a series of loosely structured classes aimed at giving them some initial guidance and the freedom to create images of the world as they see it.
Yes, rules are important but maybe we should be teaching creativity and vision BEFORE we start telling them what they can and can't do.
We're all very excited about having this opportunity to share our knowledge and encourage the younger generation who really are our future.
