COMMEMORATING THE 150th ANNIVERSARY OF THE OPENING OF THE
Mt BARKER POLICE STATION

Commissioner Dawson addresses the crowd.

Members of the Old Police Station Museum in Mt. Barker constructed a set of stocks which was used as a prop for public photographs at this very well attended event.

ACE member Ron Kowald

ACE members photographed the event and also provided digital files that will be archived as a record of this important local milestone.

The Commissioner of Police Chris Dawson, The Hon Terry Redman MLA, representatives from local government, Noongah elders, tourism, entertainment groups and other organisations were present as well as many trade and club exhibitors.

The Plantagenet Players members.

The Plantagenet Players dressed for the occasion and added lots of colour and photographic opportunities at the event.

Headed for the lockup.

Our club is more than pleased to support community projects such as this and congratulates the many volunteers and groups whose hard work and dedication made it such a success.
