In an era when digital photography is by far the most dominant form of recording images it's time to take a step back and revisit the world of traditional film and chemistry.

Some are op shop discoveries that have been cleaned up, checked and loaded up with film ready for reuse.
Our photographers range in experience from an ex professional right through to some who have only just taken up the challenge of having to adapt to a totally unfamiliar form of picture taking technology.
The display will include a series of prints taken with a wide range of cameras as well as examples of historical processing techniques from the earliest days of photography.
Pinhole photography will also be covered with a series of photographs taken around the Albany area that provide a 'different' perspective on the familiar landmarks.
The exhibition opens at the Vancouver Arts Centre on Monday the 31st of July and closes on Saturday the 16th of September.
Come along and see the other side a photography and how much fun it can be using basic equipment and just a few dollars.
