OUR NEXT COMMUNITY PROJECT

Our club maintains a strong focus on the community and has been involved in a number of important events both locally and in the southern region since the club was formed three years ago.

This year seems to have a distinct primary produce flavour with our two main projects involving the wool industry.
We will be holding an exhibition of prints and projections relating to this years ANZAC commemorations at the Nyabing Town Hall on Friday the 31st of March and Saturday the 1st of April.

We will be displaying a range of historical and contemporary photographs and video, a vintage camera collection, a live 3D/stereo demonstration, 3D/stereo prints and projections, video from the 2014 WW1 First Fleet commemorations, pinhole camera making demonstrations and much more.

A pop-up photographic studio will be available for anyone wanting a portrait of themselves, friends or family.

Our other concurrent project is providing photographs and video on the wool industry from farm to finished product in support of the 2017 Vancouver Street Festival.    We're busy taking photos and recording video that will be used along with many other art and hobby groups from around the region.

Having the two projects running fairly close together will enable us to collect a considerable amount of material that will be available for future exhibitions that the club may be involved in.
