WHAT PHOTOGRAPHERS WANT
- WORKSHOPS -

There's probably never been a time when the winds of change are blowing up so many new challenges for clubs and how they need to adapt to the times.

Our limited attendee workshops are proving to be very popular.
Our club came into existence in 2014 and even in that short time we've become very aware of a number of factors that we need to keep uppermost in our minds if we are to continue to successfully grow our membership.

The focus on photo competitions within the club is considered a very low priority by the vast majority of members and the whole competitive concept is quite quickly diminishing in favour of sharing and practical experience as a way of learning.

This isn't to say that we don't take external competitions seriously at all.    Members are very keen to submit entries to various competitions and in preparation for these events we normally hold a series of workshops and image assessments to insure entries are at their very best.

Working together has certainly proven to be an advantage to members and we will continue to provide members with every opportunity to do so through regular workshops and photowalks, etc.
