The 10 Subject Portfolio winners
Several months ago club members were invited to produce a portfolio of 10 images of 10 specific subjects.
The object was to encourage members to go out, observe and come up with their own interpretation of each subject definition.
Congratulations to everyone who entered and especially to the winners who presented an amazing selection of images.
From the positive feedback we have received we will be doing another portfolio competition early in 2016 with a new set of subjects.
1st prize of $30.00 went to Penny De Jong for an excellent selection of images. This multi exposure image in the "Something beginning with A" section was a real winner.
The 2nd prize of $20.00 went to Ron De Jong and included this amazing picture in the category of "An odd shaped window" which more than adequately fits the definition.
Jim Reynoldson earned the 3rd. equal spot of $10.00 with this creative image from the streets of Melbourne in the "A group of people doing something interesting".
Julie Holland's colourful image of dancers in the category of "A group of people doing something interesting" shared the 3rd place and a $10.00 prize.
All entrants received a Chup-a-chup each as a consolation prize to try and sweeten up their loss.
