Trying out the light.
It may be an old warehouse but it has the most amazing and constantly changing source of natural light.
Last Sunday AFUG members decided to bring in their film cameras to photograph a selection of musical instruments many of which have been made by our members. There were some extremely impressive instruments on show and they are a credit to the skill of their makers.
There were some sci-fi models being photographed and several of the more photogenic amongst us found themselves to be the center of attention as photographic models.
An amazing array of Polaroids cameras and medium format backs were in action and it looks like instant film may play a bigger than expected part in our activities.
It was generally agreed that our new facility has the potential to provide us with an exceptional studio space for future projects and I think everyone's looking forward to being involved in further sessions.

Some of the AFUG members doing their thing at the recent HQ Still Life session. Thanks to Julie Holland for the pic taken with her very impressive Canon Fisheye. |
