           OUR NEW STUDIO IS OPEN

After a lots of heavy lifting, reinstalling and much stair exercise we're finally established in our much larger and better equipped ground floor photographic studio.

Our new room is almost double the size of our previous one and the response from members has been absolutely positive especially regarding the fact that we no longer have the access problem that resulted from having those stairs to contend with.

The biggest advantage is that all our activities can take place in the one venue without the need to move equipment from the old studio to the meeting room and back each time we held a club night.

We now have a permanent Zoom desk, five workstations, a portrait backdrop, seating and all the equipment set up ready to use with very little effort.

The club is in the process of applying for funding to upgrade and expand the existing video and audio equipment so we can provide the best quality experience for our members and guests.

The club will be holding additional workshops now that everything is in place and we're about to launch a monthly MeetUp Albany 'Beginners Photography' get-together which will be open to the public.

Now that WA is rapidly lifting covid-19 restrictions our club is perfectly placed to bounce back with new technology, new communications options and an excellent club facility that we're very grateful to have been provided by the Vancouver Arts Centre and the City of Albany.
