  FLATTENING THE CURVE

We're pretty chuffed that we're living in one of the best places on earth and our being among the most isolated cities has proven to be a real advantage in minimising the impact of the corona virus.

Life is definitely on the up and up here and as well as having no problems in obtaining an adequate supply of toilet paper it seems that WA is well on the way to sending that curve south.

Maintaining the 1.5metre gap and 10 max gatherings at Emu Point on Sunday.
ACE doesn't have access to our studio at the Vancouver Arts Centre while the isolation process is in operation and this has put a huge dent in our social activities especially the face to face contact that our club regards as equally if not more important than the photography itself.

With restrictions being slowly relaxed and having a perfect day weather-wise, eighteen of our members took the opportunity to get out and enjoy a pleasant social get-together at Emu Point.

Having a face to face meeting with our members proved to be a real tonic and we're making plans to do the same in a couple of weeks at a different spot.

We've found that our online activities have been highly successful for keeping in contact and we've started regular Zoom workshops, virtual coffee meetup and 101 problem solving sessions.

There's no doubt that many of the changes that have taken place will provide us with big opportunities in the way we run our club and interact with our amazing community.
