ACE and the APS get-together

Members of the Albany Photographic Society and the ACE Camera Club recently met at the Liberte in Albany for coffee and a friendly chat with each other about photography.

Veana welcoming members of both camera clubs.
The decor in the Liberte is outstanding and provided a whole host of photographic opportunities in both unusual objects, reflections and light.

The interior has some outstanding period furniture pieces and would be an ideal setting for portraits.

Susanne and Robert share a joke.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best and the planned photowalk was only taken up by a hardy few who braved the wind and the rain to get some street shots.

In spite of that it was a great opportunity for photographers from both clubs to get together in a pleasant environment to talk about our mutual interest in photography.

Our club will be hosting an outing (yet to be decided) later in the year and hope this will become a regular event on both social calendars.
