The first police station was built in 1868 by convicts and is now a museum that houses a very good collection of local historical material, old buildings and displays showing life at it was in the early days.
The event will attended by the WA Minister of Police, Hon. Michelle Roberts MLA, Hon Terry Redman, MLA and representatives of police organisation from around WA.
Many local groups, schools, musicians, entertainers, food stalls and other organisations from the Great Southern will be attending and it looks like it will be a very entertaining and enjoyable event.
