PREPARING FOR THE ART TRAIL

Our club is currently putting together a collection of photographs for our upcoming Art Trail exhibition at the Museum Residency gallery which opens on the 19th of September.

Members have been busily sifting through their hard drives selecting images and adding finishing touches in readiness for printing and mounting.

At our last art group meeting the subject matter and styles of image were exceptionally diverse and of excellent quality.
A lot of work has been put in to ensure we have something for all tastes from tiny novelty prints right through to large framed artworks as well as cushions, tote bags, greeting cards, etc.

The exhibition will include a selection of painted art works from an accomplished local artist as well as a number of video productions featuring the southern region of Western Australia.

Our members have strived to produce works of a very high standard while maintaining an affordable price on a wide range of artistic items put together by members of our club.

We look forward to being a part of this years Art Trail and showing our work to the public.

Many thanks to the Albany Port Authority for providing us with a generous grant to help with the printing and to Paul at Gallery Works for his excellent support of this project.
