Vancouver Street Festival
Last year we had a slideshow projection of the pinhole images we had taken a few weeks before the event and this year we featured a display of 3D photography.

Local legend Gertrude Wellease
Various types of 3D cameras were on show as well as a number of anaglyph 3D prints and a side by side image that could only be seen if the viewer went cross-eyed.   This had quite a few people moving their outstretched finger back to the eyes in an attempt to resolve the image.
Most were able to do it but some found it a little frustrating.

We also had a live 3D camera and polarized video monitor where viewers could but on the glasses and see themselves and the room in stereo.    This was of great interest to the younger visitors who were waving hands and object in front of the camera to test the effect.

3D slides were shown with some from as far back as the late 1800's right up to the present day.
Overall there was quite a bit of interest in our display and we enjoyed many interesting discussions with visitors who recounted memories of the days of Viewmasters and old time movies.

We also teamed up with Lynda who brought in an amazing array of costumes for visitors to dress up and have their photo taken in our temporary studio,

Lots of fun for us as well as those who dressed up and had their photo taken.
