THE COMPETITION CREW

It's always been club policy to focus more on co-operation than competition between members and this extends right through to our entries into external photographic competitions.
Malcolm scrutinizes our images in great detail.
We're in the process of running a number of workshops to assess members work prior to them being submitted and this is proving to be extremely worthwhile.

Today, local professional photographer Malcolm Heberle spent some time with us at the Vancouver Arts Centre to go through our selection of images that we will be entering in an upcoming WAPF Interclub competition.

Malcolm has an amazing eye for detail and his observations of things that most of us had overlooked was really appreciated by us all.

We finished off the afternoon with an extended coffee drinking session at Kate's Place.
It looks like competition workshops will become a regular feature in our club from now on.
