Our Krappy Kamera Kompetition day

Fourteen member of our club enjoyed a very pleasant day out and about in Albany with basic film cameras to experiemce something a little different from our usual outings.

We met at 9:30am at the Vancouver Arts Centre where we shared out our somewhat varied assortment of film stock, made sure the cameras were working and loaded them up.

By chance, (although there is some doubt about this), we soon found ourselves enjoying the obligatory cup of coffee at Cinos where considerable discussion took place as the merits (or lack of them) of our gear.

We had the odd light shower and this actually added another element to our photographic opportunities rather than dampen our spirits.

At 1pm we all met at Kates Place for lunch and the unloading of our unusual collection of cameras.

It was considered a very enjoyable outing and one that in one form or another we will certainly be doing again.

All that remains is the developing, scanning and slideshow production prior to judging at the next club night.   The winning entrant will receive a certificate and a print of their masterpiece which will be posted on this blog.
